Quilt ADD in therapy

Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

Block Swap Adventure

~*~ Happy Mother's Day! ~*~

I am really enjoying Linda's Block Swap Adventure, and have received two more fantabulous blocks.

For April, Carolyn sent this Mother's Dream to me from Iowa, along with these pretty fabric pieces (don't you love the stripe?) and a handy little magnifier card. How'd she know my eyes have suddenly decided such things are good to have?  ;D

And for May, Pat sent me this beauty from Oregon!  I know I have sewn with that green before, and if I'm lucky I'll even find some in my stash still to use when I pull everything together next year.  She also sent a gorgeous hand-crafted card.

Carolyn likes Civil War type fabrics, and invited me to make a Mother's Dream back for her, so this is what I sent: (it's a little more creamy and less intense red than what you see)

made a twin for myself while I was at it  :)

And Pat has requested stars. She likes brights and wilds, with NO black. I'm going to use the pattern we're doing this month for my local quild's BOM - it's quite involved, but I'm looking forward to playing with it!
